Why we created SonicMax

Industrial ultrasonic technology has always fascinated us: precise, powerful, and quietly used in places most people never see.

But we believe technology like this should not stay hidden behind factory walls. SonicMax was created to bring ultrasonic technology closer to everyday creators: makers, designers, builders, home cooks, repairers, and problem-solvers who turn ideas into real things with their hands.

We are building SonicMax around one belief: advanced tools should feel practical, human, and accessible.

Slice 10 is our first step.

Founder-led. Team-built

SonicMax is led by Taylor and Jane from Houston, Texas.

Taylor leads product, engineering, and supply chain. Jane leads brand, operations, user communication, and launch execution.

Behind SonicMax is a hands-on network of product developers, industrial designers, quality specialists, customer support, marketing partners, manufacturing partners, and logistics providers across the U.S. and China.

From prototype to production, every SonicMax product is built with clear ownership and long-term support in mind.

Solve Real Workflow Problems

We build around real workflow problems, not empty specs.

Solve Real Workflow Problems

Not just bigger numbers, but fewer interruptions in real work.

Use Standard Parts

No proprietary battery trap.

Build for Long-Term Trust

Clear specs, honest claims, practical support.

Iterations to Keep You in Flow.

From internal structure to cooling, power, assembly, and real cutting tests, Slice 10 was refined through repeated prototypes to solve the interruptions creators actually feel.

Built Through Iteration

Slice 10 went through multiple structure, handle, battery, and airflow refinements before reaching the final design.

Prototype Parts / Housing Tests / Internal Layout

Rebuilt from the Inside Out

We redesigned the internal layout around the ultrasonic core, battery, PCB, airflow, and hand comfort instead of simply changing the outer shell.

Ultrasonic Core / PCB / Battery / Cooling Path

Focused on the Cutting Core

The ultrasonic core was repeatedly adjusted to improve cutting feel, reduce wasted heat, and keep more energy focused at the blade.

40kHz Ultrasonic Core / Cleaner Cutting / Lower Heat

Cooling Was Not an Add-On

Heat was one of the biggest workflow problems, so airflow, fan placement, and internal spacing were considered as part of the core system.

Active Cooling / Airflow / Longer Sessions

Power Designed for Fewer Pauses

The battery and charging system were built around longer sessions, replaceable power, and less waiting between cuts.

21700 Battery / USB-C / Replaceable Power

Tested in Real Cutting Conditions

Every change had to prove itself in actual material tests, because the goal was not just better specs, but smoother work

Material Tests / Cutting Feel / Workflow Proof

From Prototype to Slice 10

The final product brings together the lessons from every prototype: cordless control, active cooling, smart power, and longer runtime.
